But I could have made that at home!

May 10, 2014 by admin

When we are eating out for a special treat we are often looking for food that is special, sumptuous, different to our ordinary meals. We might resent the cost, and the effort we have made, if it is something we could easily have made at home.

But YamDaisy meals are the meals we could easily make at home. They are there at YamDaisy for those times when illness, exhaustion or crisis mean we can’t manage them at home. For the days when we still want the nutritious everyday food, but we just need someone else to make it. They are “I could make this at home: but not today, so hooray that the YamDaisy Cafe has made it!”

We make the menu full of family favourites, and we can be a good resource for the times when you can make the meal at home. The sample Autumn Menu is full of links to recipes for home cooking, You can look up the recipe to see if you would like it, if you could eat it, and if you might make it yourself.

As always, we love feedback. Have a look and let us know what you like or don’t like, what you are keen to try, and if you have a better recipe than the one I have put up! Show us a good link to something we haven’t got a recipe for yet!

I’m planning to make a few of the menu items this week and share them here: The Wat Veggies (an Ethiopian Vegetarian Wat), the Polenta Stuffed Peppers and the Eggplant Parmigiana. Wish me luck!

TL;DR (that means: Too Long; Didn’t Read 😉 ) Do have a look at the YAMDAISY AUTUMN MENU and click to see where the recipes lead you! You’ll see the kind of food YamDaisy Cafe’s will sell, and you might find a recipe you would like to try!
